About Arturo Del Val Anguita
Arturo always had a passion for healthcare. In 2006 he achieved a bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science BMedSc. He graduated as an osteopath from the British College of Osteopathic medicine (BCOM) in 2012 with a Masters in Osteopathy M.Ost after 4 years of study. Arturo’s Naturopathic Diploma ND qualifies him to advise on dietary and lifestyle issues. His osteopathic work is further supported through the integration of Medical (Western) Acupuncture techniques into treatments where appropriate.
Since graduation he has refined his manual skills and knowledge in the field of osteopathy working from multidisciplinary clinics, and further developed his interest in the treatment of sporting injuries as osteopath in gym environments.
Arturo benefitted from four years of non-osteopathic work, shadowing and assisting physiotherapists and midwifes, assisting women through their pregnancies as part of the women health team at University College Hospital London (UCLH). This greatly enhanced his abilities and knowledge in this area. He brings this experience to his osteopathic work, helping with pain and immobility both during and after pregnancy.
He works with a variety of gentle but effective manual therapy and medical acupuncture techniques, as well as providing lifestyle, dietary and postural advice, stretches and other exercises tailored to your needs. He works in an easy going and emphatic manner not only to help you, but to support you to learn how best to help yourself.
He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council. As a registered Osteopath Arturo undertakes regular courses to continue learning in the professional environment and to further his development as an Osteopathic practitioner.
